In the first set, JCSU (3-16) lead throughout, bolting to a 13-8 lead. The JCSU lead would then balloon to 15-9 following a kill from senior Salesse Stovall (Roanoke, Va.). The Golden Bulls would increase the lead to 23-15 on a Gracyn Doctor (Charleston, S.C.) kill. Doctor would close out the set on a kill, giving the Golden Bulls the 25-16 win.
